how i spent my spring break
Some people write briefs, journal articles, or outlines.Others spend all day lounging around on the beach.
Me? I make cake. Or, rather, I create an homage to one of my all-time favorite cartoons, using cake as my medium rather than paint or clay:
All in all, it was a good vacation. Twelve days was definitely too short.

On a completely unrelated note, how is Robin Hood? I'm always looking for new a new tv series to wile away the hours, and that one sounded promising.
In short, it's pretty much awesome. I was skeptical at first, but after the first two episodes, I was hooked.
Honestly, my favorite thing is that Lady Marian isn't the traditional damsel-in-distress; rather, she's much more assertive and modern. In general, though, the whole show is a good balance of humor, drama, and violence...and who doesn't love a good swordfight every now and then?
I think BBC America is showing the first six/seven episodes this Sunday. I highly recommend it.
